Guest guest
M, Lady, no need to apologize for not getting cards out. I too haven't gotten to any of them. You are one of the toughest ladies in this group, and you've faced such adversity-- with your heart issues and your hubby's cancer. I do hope this is something they can get back under control?? In the meantime- enjoy the Christmas holiday, celebrate the wonderful family you have and know that prayers are going out for you and yours. Guest guest
Hi , ‘I am sorry to hear about your husband and the wire problem, and I think it is time that something goes right in your life, so this is the time that only good things will happen. I love to read and I read a lot of self help books, many spiritual books, anything to keep me from thinking about all that things that can happen to any of us at any time, and the one thing I’ve read a lot is “what you think about you bring about” so start thinking positive thoughts, I know it’s hard, really I do. The when I pray, ( I end it with I ask this through Jesus whom all things are possible). I don’t mean to offend anyone, just telling you what works for me, and this works. Merry Christmas , and I pray for good tidings and health. Merry Christmas to you all I'm sorry I didn’t get cards out this year, my husband Jacks cancer is back. And I am dealing with anxiety something terrible not only because of that but because I have the recalled sprint fedilis wire in my icd. And Mayo was going to quickly replace it with another until they brought up my x ray and discovered that all of my veins are taken up by old wires. The wire is cemented between my prosthetic valve and the wall of my heart. If it quits the resynchronization wire that runs off it will also quit. That in itself will kill me. Both Ep DRs I talked to say that the chance of anything going wrong with that wire is so small don’t worry about it. but I have always been on the wrong side of statistics. less than 5% of sarc patients have cardiac sarc. I do and even less have it limited to the heart I do. I had a pig valve and in less than one year it went bad. those are also tremendous odds. I also had a pacemaker battery just quit. they will advertise that no they don’t ever just quit. Mine did. I have no underlying heart rhythm without my pacer. So hopefully you will all have a mcuh better Christmas than we are haivng. M
