Guest guest
Folks- You recently uploaded pictures into the nosurgery4clubfoot group's photos section. Unfortunately, the pictures put us over the size quota and when we're over quota, the photos section isn't accessible to the members, so I had to go in and clean house. I don't know why Yahoo allows the photos to be uploaded when it puts us over quota, but it does! This isn't a new problem- it's been ongoing for a long time- it's just that Yahoo limits the amount of space the group can use for the photos, so the moderators have to go " clean house " every once in a while and ask for help from the group. Any new pictures that were over 1000 KB in size, I deleted. All 3 of you have very large file size pictures in there- over 100 KB. I left them for now, but please go in and replace them with the same picture sized down to 100KB or less as soon as you can. As an alternative, please also consider opening a yahoo photo album where you can upload any number of pictures (there's no cost with a yahoo id and no size limitations) and then just placing a link to the pictures in the links section of our group here. For everyone else- please review the pictures that you have on the group's photos section and see if you can free up some space for the new members to add their photos! Thanks for your help- (I'm a helper to - the list owner)

And/Or... Join the CFPics yahoo group and you can send your photos in an email to the whole list and not worry about space. We don't allow members to post personal photos to the website photos section (for this very reason) unless they prove to be educational and fit into one of the pre-organized subject folders (we do need more cool pics there though) but this list has shown to be very helpful for parents who are looking for insight into various CF related issues or questions. To receive photos you must be subscribed to the list and set to *individual emails* because yahoo does not archive attachments on the website. But it works great this way and we also love to send and see pics of our sweet little children's faces as well as feet! Remember to check your email addy that you subscribe with because there is a file with information about the list which also includes our little *weed the wackos out* survey that must be filled out and returned before your membership is approved. It's easy and painless... so don't forget to fill it out and send it back before the 14 days yahoo allows new subs to wait before bumping them off. If this happens, you will need to re-subscribe to the list to get another 14 days. Hope to see more subs soon! http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CFPics/ Kori CFPics Owner and Darb's Mama
