Guest guest
I really don't believe this at all. There are no crystal children or indigo children. Each child that comes into this world is a gift from God and has something to give. Look into any child's eyes and you will fall in love with them. Some children are more sensitive than others. Parents of late-talking children (me being one of them to 2 children with different issues) all can communicate with our own children by not saying a word sometimes. You can just look at your child's face and expressions and see what they like, dislike or rather not be doing. I think this author is making TONS of money appealing to the parents of children who are struggling with the issues of speech, temper or behavioral and giving them an out saying, " It's OK your child is a crystal or indigo child. You child does not have apraxia, autism, add, pdd, etc.... " Were they all sent here the same time as the developmental delays started increasing? Who sent them, God? I have never read the books, but I did read the article. Our children need not to be exposed to pesticides, vaccines and their additives, pollution, antibiotics given to animals we eat and drink milk from, and chemicals in just about everything we use on a daily basis. Wonder why these kids are suffering from issues? You don't have to look too far to see the real reason why these children are suffering. I am a parent of one child who talked after 3 years and the other one after 4 years. Both are still in speech therapy. They were not autistic simply because they did not talk before a certain age. They weren't hyperlexic, apraxic or pdd like some professional MD's said when they were younger. They did not have genetic problems, but I did put one of them on a GFCF diet and brought to a DAN doctor. We were on the diet for 2 years. But when we needed to come off, due to a hospital situation, not related to the diet, I saw no difference. So I am open to diets and supplements. But in no way did I think there was a whole new classification as a crystal or indigo child. All people have auras, supposedly. Treat the issues and don't go and buy the rocks and crystal necklaces and other amulets they sell. You asked and it's just my opinion, Lori In a message dated 1/9/2008 8:34:14 A.M. Guest guest
Lori, The stonerubbing is where my tree hugging ends. Still, a mom in town who is my only link to the interventions I am doing who lives near me read the book and wants me to read it. I will read it if she passes it on as I'd read fiction on the beach. Anything new comes up I'll let you know but I doubt it. L > > > I really don't believe this at all. There are no crystal children or indigo > children. Guest guest
I'm not at all sure who wrote that article on indigo/crystal children - the PhD at the top or Mr. Ido (whoever he is) on his blog. I have a lot of faith in intuition and the understanding we all have of our kids - if I hadn't acted on my intuition all these years Josh wouldn't have gotten as far as he has. But, sorry, when someone says they go to sleep thinking about these children and " wake up " with masses of information that was perhaps given to them by either the children or the angels, that's just nuts. Sorry if I offend anyone's sense of religion, beliefs, whatever, but that little foray into reading that article was a waste of time. Guest guest
Wow, did not even know that was the writing. The neighbor explained it more like we learn what we need to when we are ready to receive the info. That I do believe in generally but I am not sure about grabbing on to the rest. > > I really don't believe this at all. There are no crystal children or indigo > children.
