Hickmen's Line

Hello Everyone,

Hope all is well and enjoying the holiday season.

My boyfriend who has MNGIE has just had a hickmen's line put in. I

believe this is the correct name. It is in his chest and used to

administer TPN. I was just wondering if anyone has experience with

this? He will be coming home from hospital in a week or so and I

want to know all I can about it before he arrives. All of the

equipment and supplies will be arriving before he does.

Any information will be appreciated.
