Guest guest
Hi there, I have a question for you all from my sister. She has a 26 month old little girl that she has just noticed is walking a little bit on the outside edge of one of her feet and it is also turning in (pigeon toe) a little when she walks. She doesn't trip on it but she said it almost looks like she should be going in another direction. My son was born with BCF and he has just started the 23/7 DBB. I would ask my Dr. but we don't have an appointment for another 3 weeks, so I thought I would ask the experts on this forum! Have any of you heard of this- she has only just noticed it. Thanks for your words of wisdom! Tara

Guest guest
Tara, It could be metatarsus adductus that's causing the leg to turn in. This corrects itself without treatment for *most* kids over time. I am a bit concerned that she noted that the foot turns under though- this isn't related to MA. She could call her pediatrician/family doctor and ask them about it since they should be familiar with her daughter's legs (if they've been seeing her since she was a baby). You could always have her take pictures and post them for us on the cfpics board. & (3-16-00, left clubfoot) > Hi there, > > I have a question for you all from my sister. Guest guest
Thank you so much for responding- I will ask her to take pictures, that's a good idea. Do you find it strange though that she is only just noticing it right now. If it was MA or even CF wouldn't she have noticed it at or near birth- not 26 months later?
