Guest guest
6 weeks ago at 22 weeks pregnant, my wife had her first ultrasound, which showed that the baby had a unilateral clubfoot. Today, my wife went in for a follow up ultrasound at 28 weeks, and the doctor said that the baby might have bilateral clubfeet, rather than unilateral, but he could not be sure. First, I was wondering if there are any additional concerns as far as treatment for bilateral vs. unilateral clubfoot. Second, is it any more likely that bilateral clubfeet may be more indicative of another, more serious condition, rather than if only a unilateral clubfoot is found. Larry.
