Guest guest
Just a quick note for those who have access to the A & E network on the 'tube'. A & E network is showing a 1 Hour show about The World Trade towers on 911. Having seen reports of people who had been at Ground Zero that day later developing Pulmonary Sarcoidosis, I thought this show may of some interest. I have been enjoying the first summer in a while (11 years) that I have been able to see clearly. My dx of n-sarc had left me with retinal scarring, (That was corrected w\ surgery left eye August 1996), and the prednisone had left me with cataracts in both eyes (had cataract surgery left eye April this year). I realized in may this year (having recovered from the cataract surgery) how nice it is to be able to see the dinner I am eating from the plate right in front of me .... always a good thing, eh ? Regards to all Mike

Guest guest
don't microwave buttered popcorn several At least don't inhale the popcorn down into the lungs. How in the world can anyone do popcorn several times daily-- to me, it always smelled like the nursing home-- they hoped that the popcorn smell covered the wet Depends smell- it didn't work....Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL.com. Guest guest
Thanks, Mike. I just saw an article in the paper today about someone who developed a "lung disease" from cooking microwave popcorn. This case was reported from National Jewish in Denver. They didn't say what the lung disease was, but I know they treat a lot of sarc. Apparently this person cooked buttered popcorn several times a day for an extended period of time. The spokesman for National Jewish said they couldn't find another source for the disease. I'm going to have to do some digging, see if I can find out some more. Meanwhile, don't microwave buttered popcorn several times a day! Ramblin' Rose Moderator A merry heart is good medicine. Mike Being able to see your dinner is always nice. Seeing how much dust had gotten all over everything wasn't so nice after I had my eyes done!
