Guest guest
how do you get enough evidence to overturn the psych issues from when we start and the acutal physical tests and diagnoses to prove that the sarcoid is the underlying problem, not psych, when there is overwhelming evidence in psych because thats what they thought it was. I've done a lot of posts on depression and sarcoidosis. You can search the ARCHIVES with depression, and it'll send you to lots of info. Also, in our LINKS there are medical links to depression and it's effect on sarcoidoisis. Go also to FSR-- www.stopsarcoidosis.org. They have some wonderful brochures on all these issues. If your Neuropsych tests show that you have problems with "Executive" functions, this means that the part of your brain that controls moods, personality, sexuality, common sense, problem solving, short-term memory is being effected. Whether it is by sarcoid granulomas or plaques on that part of the brain, or by vasculitis (again, more emails have addressed this in ARCHIVES)-- then this is not a bad thing. This can confirm that you have central nervous system involvement-- and that it is disabling you. If you have been denied your SSDI-- then get an attorney to help you at this point. They too can put together this information for you so that you can win your appeal. Let us know if we can help, Tracie NS Co-owner/moderatorSee what's new at AOL.com and Make AOL Your Homepage.
