Hey ,

I hope you got the tips files I sent you but if not, please let me know and

I'll re-send them. (sent earlier today after seeing your post)

I wanted to say however, that now that he's got blisters they won't heal

overnight. When you put the shoes back on they very likely will only get

worse. Even if you start to get them tight enough so there's no friction

to make any more blisters, the pressure of the boot on top of the blister

won't let it heal very well. It's sad but, once there's a sore you are in

dire straits getting them healed. Some parents have been able to do it, so

it's not impossible but not too probable. Plus it's a holiday weekend and

getting him in to see a doc isn't going to happen till Tuesday next week at

the earliest.

I would suggest to you that you not keep him out of the shoes tonight. A

whole night without them could cause some relapse. Could I say... not

will of course. However it is a very real possibility so look upon nights

without shoes as suspect. If I were you, I'd go ahead and cut out the heel

where that sore is. Do it tonight and then when you put his shoes on you

will be able to see if his heels are down, know if they're tight enough

(pull to see if the heel moves at all), and you'll remove the part of the

boot that will rub on those sores and it'll allow them to heal. Sores take

about 2w to heal so he'll need that long without pressure on that area to

get back to normal. Seriously, just go get a sharp knife and cut out that

hole. There are pictures in the files I sent you that can help.

I gotta run, but let me know if you have any questions. I'll check back

later. I really recommend cutting the hole. It can't hurt and it always

helps.
