Guest guest
nicole... grace is 18 months old and has just started walking 2 weeks ago and she does the same thing... we saw her doctor 2 days after she started walking and he said that was also typical and would probably get better in time... he said as long as the foot itself doesn't start turning in or she starts walking on the outside of her foot that the toe-in was ok... hth.. mommy to Grace 12-03-03 BCF Dobb's Brace 14/7 --- Tichauer wrote: > > > > is 16 months old and has been walking for > about 3 months now. Guest guest
My Gabe does the same thing although he isn't walking on his own yet. Dr. Ponseti told me it was due to him having a very strong anterior tibialis tendon in both feet ( more so on the left ). That tendon is very flexible, but when Gabe flexes it , it pulls the toes inward. We are hoping it will correct passively over the next few months, although it isn't likely. We are going back to Iowa to see Ponseti in his 20th month to see if he'll need a anterior tendon transfer. We're crossing our fingers. Guest guest
Hi . 's does this too. Her toes look crunched in (if that makes sense) when she walks. She is still walking on the entire foot, so I wasn't too worried about it. I also remember this topic came up in the past and I recall it is normal.
