Guest guest
Well we have seen Dr. Ponseti and it is what we thought. RELASPE. UGH!!!!! Dr. Ponseti is awesome and I encourage anyone who is questioning the current shoes or doctors to contact him. After all we have been through has been recasted, and we will go back on Friday for another set and then the dreadful heel cord release will have to be preformed yet again sometime next week. Dr. Ponseti was familar with our physician at Arkansas Children's Hosp and said he was a trained physician but rushed us through the process to quick and forced Markells/DBB on a baby that was not fully corrected. I am so thankful for this group because if it wasn't for those who responded I would have not questioned my son's treatment and get to this point. I after 3 months of hell with all the original casting and the Markell/DBB we are back to a relaspe but at least we are here with Dr. Ponseti and I am not leaving until he is corrected. Guest guest
, I am so happy for you. I know you are in good hands. We also had our first appt. with Dr. P. last Friday for a relapse. My son Karter is 13 months old. We are having the tenotomy done Friday at 1. We are going to try to meet up with Michele and Collin. If you would like to join that would be wonderful. Are you staying at RMH also? I would also like to thank this group for we would not have found Dr. P. with out it and we live in Iowa. Guest guest
I want to make sure he does. Since we were herded through like cattle in the clinic I want them to stress how important it is to slow down and take the time and go the extra mile for these kids who deserve only the best. number23 wrote: , yes how disappointing your baby relaspsed, but oh how WONDERFUL you are in the best of care now!!! Hang in there , you're a good momma who did the right thing!!! PS: Do you think Dr. Ponseti is going to speak with the dr. in Arkansas regarding his treatment failure? I hope so, we really need a qualified doctor in this neck of the woods. shawnee in Oklahoma Update from Iowa/Ponseti Well we have seen Dr. Ponseti and it is what we thought. RELASPE. UGH!!!!!
