Hi Judy I’m

a little behind again, but I kind of feel that way too, don’t want to put

up decorations as know it will cause pain, don’t want to go shopping as I

can’t walk for very long, etc… yes it gives me the blues too,

yesterday I sat in “my” chair with my warm blanket and warm little

doggie, and watched TV for hours, I never do this, I watch a soap General Hosp.

I use to watch like 20 years ago, all the doctors kids are now doctors or

cops like there dad, etc, I recognize the old people, OK that too was depressing,

then I sat through Dr. Phil and I rarely watch him, but I felt better, they had

plastic surgery gone bad, guess I’ll just deal with my old sagging

body. Then sat there through Oprah, again felt even better, she had a

battered wife who finally got out of her 25 year marriage of abuse, felt pretty

blessed after all that. I think we sometimes forget about all the awful

stuff going on in the world, and forget that yes we are in pain, trouble

walking, etc.. better there is always some one out there worse then we are,

then I didn’t feel so blue, I felt thankful that I have a loving

supportive family (ok they get sick of hearing me complain, but too bad), and

we have this group that is so full of love even when it’s silent here,

know we are praying for everyone all the time.

Not that

it’s not OK to feel depressed that is not what I’m saying, of course

it is we do have a terrible disease that no one understands, that makes it even

more frustrating. So Judy know when we are not here, we are here, we are

praying for you and all of us, Blessings from above for each and every

one. Love ya all, Marla

Subject: Where

is everyone?

It surre has been quiet around here lately. I'm

feeling down today.

It sure has been quiet around here all week.

Went for my post op check today everything was fine. Good to have

some good news.

I don't know about you but this is a bad time of year for me. I hope

someone will check in and post. I feel lonely and down. Have been

waking up with terrible back pain again. it's about a 9 out of 10.

I am just sick of being sick. I know that there of lots of members

who also are not doing well right now. I pray for all of us every

day. It's strange how someone can have lots of intelectual insight as

to why I feel this way but it doesn't stop the feelings.

I wish that there was affordiable counseling around here but what is

available would cost me $50.00 an hour. Which is beyond what I could

afford. I went for 5 sessions earlier this year and had to stop

because we ran out of money.

Stu znc Grannylunitic miss reading your posts.

Anyway hope to hear from others soon, I'm so very down and lonely.

Has anyone else felt like they wee alone in the middle of a crowd?
