Guest guest
Greetings all, Haven't posted on here for a while, but I still try to read what I think will be relevant to our situation & what I have time for. Just thought I would post some links of information specific to complex IV mito for Kris & Matt Kovalcik & anyone else interested: 1. There are at least 4 different subgroups of complex IV mito recognised http://www.icomm.ca/geneinfo/cox.htm or http://my.webmd.com/hw/raising_a_family/nord1088.asp . 2. Here is an article which would be of specific interest to those with the French-Canadian subtype of complex IV mito (which we suspect is the case for our 9 year old son , according to a matching of his symptoms related to the above links) http://www.broad.mit.edu/media/2003/pr_03_leighsynd.html . Regards, , , (9yrs - complexIV mito) & Savage (7yrs & very healthy) - Queensland Australia
