Hi all, We took Matt to his GI and his cardio appts this week, and

all went well there, we are adding fiber (pedisure with fiber), to

his feedings, mirolax for constipation and finally they are upping

his dose of Zantac and keeping our fingers crossed that this will

help with his reflux. Cardiac Dr was very nice, saw a small glitch,

on the ekg, so they did a echo and it did not show what they thought

they saw on the ekg, what a relief!!! dont have to go back for

another year, hurray for Matt, on the other note (matts older

brother) and I ended up in ER for stomach flu, and i thank God i had

the flu shot, or I think i would have been much more ill. we both

dehydrated perty quick, sat in the ER, for 12 hours before getting

helped, and we were on the extreme list. Of course our local ER

doesnt understand Mito, no matter how many times our family practice

explains about us and the disease. But once they gave us compezine

and IV fluids we felt much better, a nurse comes in with a sugar

tester, ask me if im diabetic, i tell him no, he pokes my finger,

announcing my sugar was low on my blood test, and its low on the

tester, well more IV fluid with glucose for me. We are doing well

now. Poor Bob now has the flu and still working every day i just

dont know how this man does it. He really is our Superman!! Now

just praying Matt doesnt get this, that would be a disaster, doing

all we can not to infect him, including not sending him to school,

although he thought that would meant no school work or homework, he

is finding out he was very wrong, and not very happy about that!!!

Hope everyone here has been able to avoid this bug, Been keeping you

all in our thoughts and prayers!! Barb
