Guest guest
You go Ron! We all told you you could do it. Isn't buying cloths in a SMALLER size a great feeling? You are getting closer every day, keep it up. > > I am in awe of ME! I know, I know... but I don't care... I'm in my happy place right now. I ordered some new clothes from King Size (I'm sure you all know them... they're part of the Lane family) and purposely ordered them 2 sizes smaller than I usually wear. My current clothes are rather baggy and I figured the new ones would be ready for me to wear by late spring or early summer... well, they fit NOW! Nothing is too tight. I was wearing a 5X shirt and 6X pants. I am now in 4X pants and 3X shirts! I also weighed in at 452 on Friday. That's 77 pounds down and 47 to a surgery date! I think I just got my second wind! I'm on a roll and going for the gold! > > Ron >

Guest guest
Wow wow wow wow WOW!!!! You rock! 77 lbs, that's amazing! That's what I lost AFTER surgery. You are qutie a stud muffin. Congratulations on fitting your new clothes, how is that for some inspiration. Here's the thing. You start saying to yourself every single day, "I will NEVER wear size 5x or 6x again in my life. I will NEVER be there again. And, pretty soon I will NEVER wear a size 4x again in my life." HEre's the thing that is cool about all of this...it's TRUE!!!!! You will NEVER be that size again. You get those 40 whatever lbs. off of you...you can do it, and I'll be you get that surgery done during this summer...and by next summer...just THINK of where you'll be!!!!! Congratulations, Stud Muffin, RobynnPamela A Marsh wrote: Congrats Ron! Just keep plugging away. You can dothis. Be encouraged!Pam Marsh--- pegmo1212 wrote:> You go Ron! Guest guest
Ron and Lilka I have my mom 83 and my step dad 94 they still drive, live alone, walk everyday, use the tredmill, mow yards and the list goes on. They have never been over weight so their health has been really pretty good, but eating right, exercising and staying active I believe is what keeps them going. I want to be like that also. Take care. DonnaBBQ Man wrote: Hi Lilka! It's interesting that Dr. Baggs woiuld be "really rooting for me", as I haven't seen or spoken to him in over a year. However, it's nice to thing he would be. As far as age goes, you are right. I have met A LOT of people in their sixties and even seventies and eighties who are still very active and vibrant. I know one man who just turned 81 the other day who walks all over town and "plays" with all the cute young chicks he meets. I hope that when I'm his age I can be that way too. I know that I'll "get" old, but I don't plan or want to "be" old. You GO Lilka! Ron Re: A milestone Hi Ron. Good old Dr. Baggs. I can't believe he was so nice. He is really rooting for you. With me he just kept repeating that I was too old. Do you know that people over 60now have to have lap band surgery not RNY. I just slipped in before they changed the rules. Thank God. But I have come to believe that age is in the spirit of the person, not the years. What do you think? You have a wonderful young and vibrant spirit to me. Love, Lilka>> Ron! Here's to continued success! Cheers! <clink!>> Laurie> > > __________________________________________________>
