Marla, I find it outragious that because of your husbands occupation they won't treat u approiately.. I'd think that it would be the opposite, I think that withholding treatment is just as an offense than if treated and it not work.. at least you could say they tried..

They not given me the Neuro/psyh test, not even mentioned it..and they get IRRATE, if I mention or suggest anything.. I think to give anyone an example of what I'm dealing with its like pulling a mad bull by the nose to get them to do anything.. and actually my pulmonologist informed me that for me, there is "NO TREATMENT" Now, I'm tempted to go into a rage again, but I will spare u..

Damian, has so much on his plate with graduating high school, he's in the senior play, trying to work, wanting to go to every single thing that the school has and has recently started going to "SENIOR PARTIES" where he didn't come home one night/ senior prom night.. when I did find him, he was so drunk he couldn't stand up, didn't recognize my voice over the phone.. and proceeded to tell me that the party was out in a field somewhere, he was dirty from passing out and emesis all over his shirt.. I know, I know all this stress isn't helping, and I know that me being sick and him having to be the responsible one is taking its toll on both of us...

I'm ranting and raging again.. so I'll hush..

Thanks again Marla..for the encouragement..

Love u,

Re: This is a RANT, Sooo... if you're interested read on, if not its ok to skip over..

, with out saying, this is awful behavior of anyone, The Dr. should go back to school and take "patients have feelings too 101" I know how you feel, I was seeing a neurologist at a University hospital well know, and she sent me to another Dr. and of course all the test were neg, except the mental tests they do, and that suggested Neurosarcoidosis, but couldn't rule out depression. So this doctor jumped on the "depression band wagon", but the end of my appt. I was in her face! You need to take your MRI and go see another Neuro for sure, and soon, I had many of the same symptoms you described before starting Methotrexate, that really was a great drug for me!.. But it took coming back to my Pulmonologist who I think of as my primary, he wrote the Rx, because get this, the Nero specialist was just about to give me the Rx, and she and my husband were causally talking, she asked if he was an attorney and he said Yes, she tore up the Rx and said I need more tests and see another Dr. can you believe that, I never put him down as that, well sometimes I forget and do it, but I try not to, I had another Dr do the same thing just recently too, I tell all this because there is hope, don't give up, I know it makes you crazy and yes depressed to go from Dr. to Dr. but when you find the one that treats you like a person it makes it all worth it. The Neuro I see now, is wonderful but a 5 years ago he wouldn't of been, why, He had a stroke, lost the use of one side, had to go through rehab, now he has a shining bed side, hmm go figure. Anyway, even thought I know it wears you out, keep going girlfriend, don't give up or give in! I am still fighting for Remicade, and have been since the fall, I did the same with Methotrexate, fought until someone gave me an Rx for it, and for 4 years it was great, now I'm on the roller coaster too, and do feel your despair, but know you are fighting for you, your family and to reclaim your

life, sorry to go on, but hopefully hearing this will encourage you to keep on keeping on!!! You're a very important person, and don't you ever forget that, don't let anyone treat you like that!! love ya, Marla

Guys, I am sooo upset.. and sick.. I feel like someone is standing on the right side of my head, my right ear has a sound like a hard wind blowing in it, I'm so dizzy I can't stand up.. my right eye is twitching as if its having a seizure.. constantly.. then I read my MRI report from my last Emergency Room visit, where I was released at 1:30am being told that it was "NORMAL".. I saw my sorry (being nice here) Neurologist.. that proceeded to inform me that "you are overweight, you need gastric bypass surgery, and then you will be "JUST FINE"..

Now, I know none of us are radiologist.. however being a former LPN, and many of u being former RN's/current RN's does this read "FINE" to you? My MRI reports have always been 'NEGATIVE" any change would tell me that its not "FINE" and yes the caps mean I'm mad!!

I've already instructed my son.. should they meaning "VANDERBILT" lets me die.. that he is to "SUE THEM" and make his self a better life!.. yes I've said it..

This same ER visit, as it says I was having some confusion.. I had lost my blood sugar monitor, and I was also forgetting if I had taken my insulin or not at times and rather than taking this high dose a second time, I wouldn't take it.. was "INTERPERTED" She is "NOT" checking her blood sugars, and is "NOT" taking her insulin! Which could explain my confusion if my blood sugars where out of control.. I am absolutely "LIVID"

I've cried the last 2 days, yes I'm depressed.. but its because I'm "SICK"!! Damnit!!!

MRI BRAIN WITHOUT GADOLINIUM, 04/15/2008: CLINICAL HISTORY: Neurosarcoid, altered mental status. Comparison is made to MRI brain performed at an outside facility dated ----------------02/2007. PROCEDURE: Three plane localizer, diffusion-weighted axial, ADC axial, sagittal and axial T1, T2, FE axial, FLAIR axial, T2 turbo spin echo axial and FFE axial imaging through the brain. Gadolinium was not administered. FINDINGS: A few of these T2-weighted sequences at the latter portion of the examination obscured by patient motion. No definite intracranial mass, hemorrhage or stroke is seen. There are a few scattered T2 and FLAIR hyperintense foci within the bilateral frontal and left parietal white matter as well as within the left thalamus which were not definitely present on the outside study. Although these may represent sites of small vessel disease, neurosarcoid involvement of the Virchow-Robin spaces may also be a c

onsid eration. No meningeal thickening is seen. Ventricular configuration is normal. IMPRESSION: 1. No evidence of acute stroke. 2. Small T2 and FLAIR hyperintense foci within the white matter thought most likely to represent foci of small vessel disease, although neurosarcoid involvement of the Virchow-Robin spaces may also be a consideration. -- Marla BramerIndependent Beauty Consultant Kay mbramer (AT) marykay (DOT) comwww.marykay.com/mbramer
