Guest guest
My children have been on the mito cocktail since September. We do not live near any of the major mito centers and that is why the children have not yet had a formal evaluation. A local doctor does an initial screening using the level of serum bicarb lactate (or something close to that). Has anyone ever heard of such a test? Is it accurate? The testing that I have seen for mito includes many, many tests. My husband prefers denial, and I don't want to risk a false negative, when all indicators are that the condition really is present in both our children. Thanks, Diane BTW, if this is a duplicate post, I hope the moderator will delete it.)
