Guest guest
Hey Guys, Just looking for a little sympathy; I cannot start the cytoxan therapy because of a low white count. I have an appointment with a hematologist on the 19th. My rheumatologist wants to make sure the Imuran didn't make the bone marrow " sick " . I know the wbc's are made in the marrow and after I stopped the Imuran I had gone back to normal. This is my 6 week blood work after my first normal (almost) wbc. Well, thank you guys for being there and listening. I can't say I would have ever though I was looking forward to chemotherapy but I just want to feel better. Thanks for everything.... Guest guest
, I was only on it 6 months - it just did not agree with me. It made me really sick from the start so it was not for me. Just make sure you do your required blood work just to make nothing is going on. Some folks it just doesn't agree with. Thanks for the sympathy. I am in a better frame of my today. Guest guest
Jackie, Is any of you medicine responsible for your tinnitus? I know some drugs can cause that. How about taking a supplement for it? I think lipflavonoid is the name of the one for tinnitus. Azathioprine is Immuran I think. That is the one that gave me the problem but some people have had success with it. I just was ready for a new treatment to try. Good luck on the tinnitus treatment. BTW, what part of England are you from. Take care and I am sure we will talk again soon. Guest guest
Terri, I know what you mean, I few times I have had people say to me, well it's good you don't have cancer, then shocked to hear me say, well that actually would be better, as they have approved treatments and cures for most cancers, there is no cure for NS. of course then they just look at you like your crazy, which of course is one of our dx too . well here's to being " normal " ! hope you get your treatment soon, God Bless, Marla Hey Guys, Just looking for a little sympathy; I cannot start the cytoxan therapy because of a low white count.
