Guest guest
This one really struck a chord with me! I recently lost my wallet (insert expletive here!) and had to get a replacement drivers license. My previous license had UNDERSTATED my weight by at least 30 pounds, and probably more like 50. It feels really cool to put my weight as of THAT MORNING, honestly! Yes, you can get a replacement. Because I didn't have my old one, they had to look it up on their computer. Then my signature didn't look the same (it seems to change periodically), so the gal was looking very closely at the face and distinguishing characteristics (like moles and stuff like that) so she noticed. She kept looking at me, her computer screen, me, screen... I figured she was having questions about the weight, so I told her I'd lost a lot of weight. Because I'm not shy (understatement?) I told her how. Save your old license though, just for giggles! Remind yourself of how far you've come. At 09:18 03/07/2006, you wrote: >Thanks for briging that up Donna. Guest guest
Eleanor Being able to be honest about the weight is such a good thing. I hated when I was honest, because I am very honest, but the weight issue was very hard for me. Now I'm proud, so I know how you felt. For sure we know you're not shy, but upfront is a good thing. I keep my old license, actually have all mine, it is cool to look back. Take care. DonnaEleanor Oster wrote: This one really struck a chord with me!
