Guest guest
Hi Patti, I am sorry you are having such a bad time. You are going through a phase called buyer's remorse. Once you start to see some results it will pass and you will see why you did the surgery. It is OK to whine all you want we are all here for you. It will pass and you will feel better. You will get accustomed to your new lifestyle and eating habits. Once you start to see the new you emerge you will know that it is all worth what you are going through now. Guest guest
Hi Everyone! As most of you know I am 6days out from my surgery. I haven't had any nausea or vomiting and in the way of discomfort, it's been minimal. So, here's where I am having a hard time... I went to the mall today and saw a movie with a friend... the food scents drove me nuts! I wanted to eat!! I then proceeded to the grocery store because I still have a family to shop for. It was pure torture!! Everything looked good. I swore I was having hunger pains as well.I guess I am feeling sorry for myself because all I can eat right now is thick liquids and it's become quite unfullfilling. I know this is a whole change of life process and I am dedicated to stay on the correct path, but right now I am feeling down. I so look forward to my vitamins because I get to chew! LOL Please, just remind me that this to will pass. That I will get thru this and my relationship with food will be different and I can be free. Sorry to whine!! I'm afraid if I don't get it out attitude will spill out of me. Thanks Patti

Guest guest
Hi Patti - I am 6 weeks out and right now the thought of food makes me sick. I am having issues geting enough eaten (and I am still on soft foods too). But the smell thing will pass. And the first time you go shopping for something and you try it on and it is too BIG, well that is worth it. Being able to cross your leg, that's worth it. I went to a basketball game and fit comfortablely in the sit, that was worth it. Hang it there buddy, you'll be fine. PEGGY > > Hi Everyone! As most of you know I am 6days out from my surgery. Guest guest
Hi Patti, Your message brought back a memory for me which made me smile. Just a couple days after getting out of the hospital, hubby and I went to an IMAX movie. Guess what we saw? Charlie and the Chocolate factory. LOL I was DROOLING!! Chocolate is my favorite thing in the world. What was I thinking??? Laurie __________________________________________________
