My eight year old has had very oily hair for the past year or two and

nothing we have tried has worked. Even just after washing her hair it

looked oily/greasy. Has anyone else encountered this and have you found

anything that may treat it as well as what could be causing the issue?

Darla,

I really don't know of any reason she may have oily hair, other than it is just her body chemistry or she is starting puberty. I just read an article about hair types and it suggested blotting baby powder by the scalp. It is supposed to absorb the oil. Not sure if this works, as I have the complete opposite problem. (All my hair is dry and falling out!)

Best wishes
