Guest guest
On Friday the 18th, at 8:36pm I had Tyler ! Hes totally perfect! 6lbs 13oz, and 17 inches long... He was almost 42 weeks, so teeny for so overdue! But he seems healthy so far and thats all that matters!!! They only did a basic set of blood work, (blood gases, glucose, etc) and the initial stuff all looks perfect! Were hoping its a sign of things to come, as they will be doing the rest of the testing (carnatine, lactic acid, etc) over the next few weeks. But for now were resting easy, hes eating great, and while hes a little jaundice, its nothign compared to how yellow was at 3 days old... Im totally in love with him! Just had to share the good news! Amazingly, Im doing really well too... After was born i got SO sick... i wound up in hospital for 2 weeks, and ultimately landed at the mayo clinic. This time Im in GREAT shape, and its only 3 days after! I guess the universe figured i paid my dues with my last baby, and deserve an easier ride the second time around! (knock on wood). Anyways, just wanted to share! Glad to be back! Keely (mom to -26 months-Complex 1 and Tyler 3 days!)
