Hi everyone,

I had bookmarked some information on magnesium orotate that I should

have shared before. It is the results of some studies, not on

mitochondrial patients specifically, but with some overlap that I

think makes it very informative to us. The very last study talks

about the use of CoQ10, Lipoic Acid and Magnesium Orotate as a

therapy, and it's effectiveness. Here is the link:

I wish I had gotten to know everyone and let you get to know Craig

and our story before jumping in and sharing our recent success on

magnesium orotate. I was just so hoping to help other parents and

their kids, and to help adult patients.

I have never thought of magnesium orotate as a miracle cure for

Craig. I think it has bought us some more time, though, and these

days I am thankful just for that. He is starting to look a little

weaker lately, and either he is fighting something off or the

disease is getting ahead of the treatment again, as it seems to do.

We are upping the dose in the hopes that it will start doing it's

thing again.

I have great respect for the people on the message board. So many

of you have children that are much sicker than Craig. You are

obviously a very intelligent group of people, and I appreciate your

questions and concerns before trying magnesium orotate. I hope the

above link helps a little. I wish there was more concrete

information to share, but that is the nature of something so new. I

feel so priveleged and blessed to have been at the conference to

hear about it.

God bless you all.
