Guest guest Posted September 2, 2007 Report Share Posted September 2, 2007 Carla, one of the reasons I carry such a big & heavy purse is for my battery powered fan, extra batteries, hand fans for times the electric fans are too noisy or give out, etc. I also use the cool bands. I haven't tried the Garfield comic ideas yet, although I have stuffed cold gel packs in my shirt & put a 5# bag of frozen french fries on my stomach to get to sleep. I often wrap one of the cool bands around my forehead, and my kids/grandkids tease me & call me a Ninja! Hiiii-yaaaaa! Whew, that got me all hot.
