Guest guest
Jerry, Hi, my name is Rosie and l have a high BMI. My BMI was 64. Dr.Gagner did the first part of the DS surgery on 7/17. l had asked him if he could do the whole procedure, would he. He assured me that if he could he would. Long story short, he couldnt. l'm ok with that. l was completely comfortable with Dr.G's decision. l did much research and was completely comfortable with the Dr and the outcome. l now have to mentally prepare for the second part, however, l have heard the second part is the easier part, being now that l will have lost at least 100+ lbs. Jerry, the only thing l think that makes it easy for me having it in done in two parts is having the confidence in my dr to make the best decision for me. Just having the first part took him almost 3 hours. Plus l'm a revision surgery, from a VGB that failed me. So, for me this is the way it will be, but at least l know my changes are sufficently low for any complications. And that for me and my family is the best comfort. Hopes this helps you, Rosie
