Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just wanted to pass on some information. I have a three month old son with BCF- he is about a month into the FAB. I have been desperate to find a way to carry him with his bar so that I don't have to bother with a stroller all the time. I know a lot of people look to a Baby Bjorn- in my research, I have found that type of carrier to be quite bad for the child's growth. It doesn't allow for proper spinal alignment. The way the legs dangle puts unneccessary pressure in the wrong spots. There is a carrier out there that has been used for centuries in Asia called a Mei Tai. I tried a few of these, and they were just to large for my small boy with his bar. Finally, I found the perfect one. It is called a Mei Tai Baby and it is adjustable. At this age I carry my son in the front, but as he gets older, I will carry him on my back as well. It is a very comfortable carrier- even for someone with a very bad back (me!). If you are looking for a method of carrying your baby, please check this out. It has changed my life. I can do everything now while my baby hangs out with me. If you have an infant you will need the adjustable feature. They are beautiful, and you can design it yourself. For what it's worth, I just thought I'd pass on this information. www.meitaibaby.com Let me know if you have questions, or want to see a picture of my son in it. Take care, Tara
Guest guest
ohhh! I like it! I used the sling for my babes but I always carried them front pack style anyway. But this is cool, it looks like you could move both arms when using it which is very cool. I don't have any more babies on the way (cross fingers, toes, and other crossable appendages LOL!) but if I did I'd absolutely try this carrier. Thanks for showing it to us!
