All the staff in the Minor Injury Clinic were fabulous! Loved the Dr. I ended up seeing. She said she would have never guessed that I had surgery only 6 months ago! That made my night right there!Anyway, the bad part of the night was that I had a bladder infection that went scarily painful very fast. It sure was fun driving to Vallejo, I found all the restrooms along the way there! lolBack to the good part of the night now! While I was sitting in the room waiting to be seen I was given a gown to wear. The dreaded gown which never used to cover me. It was such a joke. Well I am happy to report that this thing was HUGE on me and it was a normal sized one. YAY!! To finally fit and have that gown completely closed in the back and overlapping. I was so happy that my bladder hurt a little less for a minute! I must have had 5 lbs of water retention too, since this am I got on the scale, same time, different day scenerio and I was down 5 lbs from yesterday. I am officially in the 180lb range at 188!!!! Only 50 to go till I am at goal range! Dr Baggs said anywhere between 150-135 would make him happy. Me? Guest guest
Thanks Pam! It has been probably 10+ years since the last time I had to see the Dr for an infection. Usually I can catch it in time and down lots of cranberry juice. I even tried that last night first. I got the 100% concentrated cranberry juice from Trader Joes. Has 9 gms of sugar per 8 oz. Well by the time two hours had gone by I had drank 16 oz of the stuff. 2 0z every 15 mintues. Now I know that I can't drink cranberry juice like that to fix my problem, all it did was give me another problem! OY! No fear of constipation here! SO I guess I had my first official DUMPING as well! Boy what a night! Thanks again Pam. Guest guest
Thanks Donna! It really is fun to have new milestones crossed! It is SOOOO worth the surgery! Speaking of health, it sure is refreshing when you go see a Dr you don't know and they ask you if you have any health issues you can say NO! lol I used to have to add diabetes and high bloodpressure to the questionare! Take care, Kay > Hi Everyone. > Well last night was my first time to the Kaiser facility in Vallejo. > All the staff in the Minor Injury Clinic were fabulous! Loved the Dr. > I ended up seeing.
