Guest guest
Since I've begun losing, I'm rapidly getting batwingsthat are.. ummm.. HUGE (did anyone see the cartoon teacher in " Monkeybones " ?). I wondered preop, but never looked into it.. if wearing supportive elastic sleeves might not help the skin to tighten up a bit.. If so, where could I find the materials to make these things, since I doubt they're produced commercially? Anyone have any ideas?? Second question.. when you postops say your hair starts falling out, is it more hair in the brush in the AM, or worse? I get more hair in the brush.. I shed as I walk around.. if I flip my hair back w/a hand, I have a clump of 6-10 hairs on my fingers.. if I run my fingers along my ponytail, I get more hair out. Is this the expected, or more severe than usual? I'm tempted to just cut it all off, but I don't want to overreact ..yet.. and if I do cut it off, I plan to donate the poneytail to locks of love (www.locksoflove.com)- its a nonprofit organization that uses donated hair to make wigs for children whose hair has fallen out due to chemotherapy or a medical problem. Anyway.. before I shave my head.. is this the norm for postop shedding? Thanks in advance- Hugs, Liane
