Guest guest
Judy, What an adventure! I'm sure that many of our members have been effected by the storms back East. We've not had a lot of action with the group! I'm so glad that your surgery went well today! I know how many challenges you've had to face this past year-- and lady, pat yourself on the back-- you have managed well! We were supposed to get zapped with snow this last week-- fortunately, it missed us by about 2 miles up from where we live. The family that was stranded up in Inskip was only about 6 miles from our home. They are one lucky, lucky blessed family. Came out with only minor frostbite. Where they were, it snowed 6 ft over the 3 days. Amazing what 1500 extra feet in elevation does. Snow here is what is called "Sierra Cement"-- it's thick, dense, heavy-- very heavy, and you don't want to be caught unprepared. I can't believe that they went up in tennis shoes and light weather jackets. Take care, and it's good to know that you are safe in the midst of ice storms!
