Guest guest
Merry Christmas to you all I'm sorry I didn’t get cards out this year, my husband Jacks cancer is back. And I am dealing with anxiety something terrible not only because of that but because I have the recalled sprint fedilis wire in my icd. And Mayo was going to quickly replace it with another until they brought up my x ray and discovered that all of my veins are taken up by old wires. The wire is cemented between my prosthetic valve and the wall of my heart. If it quits the resynchronization wire that runs off it will also quit. That in itself will kill me. Both Ep DRs I talked to say that the chance of anything going wrong with that wire is so small don’t worry about it. but I have always been on the wrong side of statistics. less than 5% of sarc patients have cardiac sarc. I do and even less have it limited to the heart I do. I had a pig valve and in less than one year it went bad. those are also tremendous odds. I also had a pacemaker battery just quit. they will advertise that no they don’t ever just quit. Mine did. I have no underlying heart rhythm without my pacer. So hopefully you will all have a mcuh better Christmas than we are haivng. M
