I just had a prescription note from Dr. Hess that stated how long I would

I'm also working for a small company...I didn't need a letter for my

employer...and I didn't need a letter to go back to work. I just said I'd be

taking my two week vacation on xx days and that the first week back would

probably be part time due to surgery. However I did tell everyone what I was

doing. I don't see any reason why your company will find out about the

surgery because unless they are self insured...all they get are the premium

bills each month. You can always calland ask your insurance company to be

sure.
