Yes it is Judie, now all I have to do is motivate and sign up with a gym so

that I can get all this saggy flesh nice and toned. Before I had surgery I

always thought oh I will get plastic surgery. But now I am not so sure I want to

have surgery of any type ever again if I can help it. I wish there was an

excersize machine that excersized your body LOL. Yes I know I am lazy

*huggers*

Lisbeth, I find myself thinking the same thing. Im not too keen on losing

more hair with other surgeries but I just might get my panni removed since

Dr Welker does that and I trust him to do a good job.....we will see!

You have fun buying some new clothes tomorrow! What size are you in now?

Wal Mart has some good jeans we can wear that are cheap until we reach our

goals.....Old Glory for around 10 bucks a pair.....you might look into that.

Their elastic waisted shorts are great too!

I can totally understand that. I think that once I am further out the memory of

surgery will dissapear who knows. Never say never is what I say maybe I will. I

am wearing a size 16. I bought a pair of pants that were 14 but only because

they had stretch in them. I live in NYC so we only have a K-Mart sometimes I

wish I had a wal-mart just so that I could buy the neat stuff you guys are

always talking about. Such is life. *hugs*

Wow...to think I could be in your position a year from now, Judie...20 lbs

from goal...that'd put me around 138 lbs. I haven't weighed that since my

senior year in high school!!

Cigna, you better not deny me because you'll regret it if you do!!!!

alyssa, hell-bent on a ds!

At my highest I was 259, the stress of worrying for surgery I lost 5 pounds On

the day of surgery I weighed 254. Had surgery June 25th. Today I hopped on the

scale hey it was my 2 month anniversary I now weigh 213. My next big goal is to

be under 200 lbs. I havent been under 200 for a long time.

What is your goal weight Judie? What are you at now? when did you have surgery?

MY goal is 140 even though Id like to get down to 135. I havent weighed

either of those since I cant remember when! Must have been around 1977!!

You know, Alyssa, time has a way of going fast. Im 9 1/2 months out now and

its like a dream. It doesnt even seem as if Ive lost that much....I know

I have but it was so fast and without effort that its hard to believe it has

happened! I can see it in the mirror though. I like what I see (I do need a

tummy tuck though lol)

It will go fast for you too. Just you wait!

Hugs, Judie

You arent too far ahead of me in the weight before surgery dept.....I was

245 on surgery day. Had surgery Nov 15, 2000 and Im 162 right now! My goal

is 140 (dr welker says that is very reasonable as we are not to strive for

what we weighed in high school after being morbidly obese for so many years)

Wow! 41 lbs in 2 months? Thats dang good.....thats 20 1/2 lbs a month!

WOW!

Congratulations beth, you're doing wonderfully! My surgery was

three days before yours, and our weight loss is pretty much the same

(I'm minus 45 lb)

It is a trick to get in all the protein every day, I agree. But so

far so good. My energy is getting better with every pound lost, but

I still could use more.

I too need to start exercising. Not my favorite thing, but necessary!

Be well, Meli

months ago and the differance is incredible. I sprint up the stairs.

I walk fast. I am no longer out of breath and I have energy. I have a

ton of energy. The last few days I have been a bit tired so I am

monitoring myself. Am I perfect good god no. I have to up my protein

and I have to figure out how to take my iron pills and not get sick

to my stomach each time. And I definitely need to drink MORE water.

But I am grateful that I am feeling better. Now I just wish I had the

money to buy a new wardrobe *sigh*
