Guest guest
Rose, Thanks for sharing your pictures. Your granddaughters are beautiful and your mom is too cute. She looked like she was so surprised. She never caught on that something was up? What a fun time for you and your family! Hugs, in UT >> > I made it through the weekend. It was wonderful, but exhausting! My son & grandson & I took my mom out to eat Thurs. night, her actual 85th birthday. Late Friday night I had to pick my cousin up at the airport (hour's drive away), was too keyed up to sleep until about 4am. Saturday my son picked up my brother at the bus station, then at noon I went back to the airport to get my granddaughters from San (-18 and a-10). Saturday evening we had a cookout/bonfire with about about 18 people here; took my mom to church Sun. am, came back & got everything loaded up & over to her building for her surprise party. My daughter, niece & some friends helped set everything up. She was totally surprised! The party was great, but I told her I'm doing it again until she turns 100. I sent a photo of the girls & me, Mom & me, and Mom walking into the party. I also posted them in the Rose's World album in Photos. I had quite a bit of sliced ham & turkey left, but my dogs managed to get it out of the fridge, along with fruit salad, spinach dip & mustard! Stuff was all over the yard, plus they (actually it was probably B.J.) got the box with cake in it off the kitchen counter & ate most of the frosting! We didn't need to eat all that cake anyway, but I sure wish I had that meat. Oh well, stuff happens.

Guest guest
Rose, I don't know how you do it! It sounded like a great weekend and perfect for your mother. The picture with her was really nice. You look really good (I know the famous statement, but you really do.) Sounds like everyone had a special time. Debbie Rose wrote: I made it through the weekend. Guest guest
Debbie, I had hoped to have time to fix myself up a little--some makeup, do something with my hair--but that didn't happen, so I looked just like . . . . . . myself! LOL! Ramblin' RoseModerator A merry heart is good medicine.
