Guest guest
.... Wow...I can't believe you are back to work already !! As you know, you and I had our surgeries the same day and I'm still here at home sore as heck but getting stronger everyday. I will probably be off at least one more week and may take the whole month off becuase it's slow at my office anyway. Glad to hear that everything went well with your surgery and that you are having such a speedy recovery. I'm not sure what you are allowed for food intake but mine consists of Modified full liquid foods at this point and that consists of the following: Cream of Wheat Cream of rice Grits Low fat cream soups (Chicken and mushroom) Sugar free custard Sugar free pudding unsweetened applesauce yogurt I have been sticking to kaisers reccomended plan and I see the Doc this Friday. I will more than likely be advanced to the modified soft diet and be able to start eating real foods (LOL) including protein...yay !! Welcome to the other side....I'm happy to hear you're doing well. Keep us posted on your progress and happy holidays ! Guest guest
Hi , I had my surgery on the 12th - and while I am not back to work - I am feeling really well. So far my absolute favorites have been my popsicles but other than that cream of chicken and chocolate fudge SF Jello pudding mmmmmmmmm. There are lots of different kinds of pudding and jello you can eat to keep the flavors changing. So far I have found Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge, Banada Creme, Butterscotch and Vanilla. I've only tried the Chocolate Fudge so far - but its really good. Jello comes in SF in almost every flavor and you can add splenda to your cream of wheat or cream of rice so for just another week - it should tide you over. Best of luck to you!
