Guest guest
Wow Pam! Fantastic weight loss. Congratulations. You're right... I haven't been to the Vacaville support group meetings in awhile. I'll try and get back to one soon. Protein drinks...I use to do them (at least twice a day) and I did that consistently for quite some time. As you know, Richmond doesn't like them. When I called Richmond saying that I was having chronic diarrhea, the only question Dr. Baggs asked was " are you still doing protein shakes. " I decided to stop them. My diarrhea continued but has since stopped (it was horrible for 2-3 months). Breakfast is hard for me. It's the first meal of the day and everything hurts my stomach. Dr. Baggs prescribed some protonics (sp?) and that has helped immensely but I still don't do breakfast well. I drink my breakfast and I'm good for the rest of the day. Chicken still doesn't sit well with me. It feels like a brick in my stomach and I try to avoid it. Thigh meat is better than breast meat because it is less dry. Hopefully as time progresses, I'll be able to go back to eating more chicken. I eat more beef and dairy products for my protein than anything else. I'm going to pick back up on my protein drinks I think. I've started a kickboxing class this last week and I need to get a few more calories in so i'm thinking I'll add a shake after I come back from kickboxing. We'll see. They do make me feel good and they keep the carb monster at bay. Everyone has to do what works for their body. Keep up the good work and I'll see you soon (at Vacaville). Are you going to the next one? Tina > > > > > > Ok - so I went to starbucks yesterday. Just had a taste for > coffee > > and I > > > ordered a non-fact, decaf latte.
