Guest guest
Hello to All, I have to agree about those grandkids, they make the Holidays wonderful. We spent the afternoon with Amie and I sat and held Audrey much of the day. She was not having a very good day and we weren't sure she would see New Year's, but she surprised us again and the next day was smiling and happy. She is truely my sunshine, as are all of my grandchildren. In the evening we went to my son's and DIL and there three kiddos. All in all it was a great Christmas. New Year's was a different story. As I was getting ready for my 12 hour 7pm tp 7am shift at the hospital I began to feel not so good. By the time I got there I Knew I wasn't going to be able to make it through the night. The stomach flu had hit. I ended up going in an empty Pt. room and sleeping until morning, then I went home and slept the rest of the day. I am feeling better today and am planning on going to work tonight. Other than feeling like I have been beat in the ribs I am doing OK. Well, Happy New Year to all, Kathy, grandma to Audrey, 3yearswilliam hawthorne wrote: Hello, I hope everyone has had a wonderful New Year's Day and that 2005 will be the best year yet for each of you. Our holiday has been bright when we held, rocked and walked our 3 week old grandson and played with our 3 yr. old grandson. We are sad that our 30 yr. old daughter, with mito, hardly knew it was Christmas. At this point in her journey she has significant dementia. Hugs to all, Shelby
