Guest guest
Thanks for your advice. We are still unsure if Asenath has cyclic vomiting or if something else is going on. She seems to always be nauseous, never wants to each cause it causes pain, and vomits with her meds frequently. With this past trip it has been decided that we should try a 24 hour drip feed via G-tube to see if it settles the tummy down some. The hope is that she wouldn't be going from too full at night to nothing during the day and if something is in the tummy when meds go in, maybe she won't struggle with them so much. Zofran has been given to her this past week and has seemed to help for the past few days (we think). I plan to speak to her GI about placing her on a trial run of the med for a month or so to see if it makes a difference. Wish us luck.
