To a wonderful group and wonderful moderators,

I made the mistake last Thursday night by thinking that this issue would take care of itself and we'd all move forward.

Darlene has said it beautifully, we are a group of people with an awful disease that takes so much from us. We don't have to lose our integrity to it also. The moderators and Darlene and I have been online via emails with each other-- and we are still trying to come together with how to deal with these issues.

We all understand that this disease makes us angry-- and that we need to have a place where we can vent and scream and cry. Stu has brought a level of humor that many have found helpful-- but to continue on with bar room cussing just for the sake of getting someone's goat, it needs to stop.

We have all laughed and appreciated Rose's humor and her ability to score our rants-- we've all had them. This is what many times, takes our minds off the pain and losses of sarcoidosis.

All of the moderators and owners are women of faith. We are also human, we make bad decisions -- I surely did last Thursday night- by not addressing this at that time.

This isn't about judging one another, and the best of us fall short- and then we find ourself defending our position. Redneck, Christian, atheist, -- whatever-- we all have sarcoidosis and many of us have sarc on the brain. Many of us are on high dose steroids, and that makes it even harder to get off a "bad" trainride, even when we see it becoming a wreak.

So please, to all of you, lets ground ourself, and get back into doing what we do best-- without all the swearing and finger pointing and the garbage-- and work together to get answers to this disease, finding ways to lift each other up and when we are weak- carry each other along until we can find our way-- once again.

With loving compassion for all,

Tracie
