All throughout the holidays, it has pretty much sucked! (sorry for the slang!) Every couple of days, I have been in bed feeling like crap. The body, joint and headaches have been awful along with the nausea and vomiting. I have been going back and forth from PCP to gastronologist . (By the way, my PCP hasn't helped me much at all and just passes me along to the other drs!) A new rheumy has just started at my local group of drs and I have been referred to him right away. I have an appt. next week. I hope he is a good one! The botox that the gastro put in my stomach to enter into my small intestine for my gastroparasesis hasn't been successful at all. The gastro has now more or less has given up and has just kept me on the Reglan for my stomach (which doesn't do a great job either). It is usually used for the nausea for cancer patients and seriously, I don't know how they find it helpful. So he is referring me to another specialist at Massachusetts General in Boston for a second opinion. I have been there before and that's where they diagnosed my Sarcoid. I have an appt there soon also. So that's what has been going on with me. I really hope that these new drs can help me, but I hate to get my hopes up. I have seen so many drs in the past five years and have often been disappointed. Well , I will try and help out more since Tracie and aren't doing well and Kim is out of commision.
