Guest guest
I'm assuming you've deleted the " full-size " versions? That's something the moderators can do. Ran into that myself with the group I own. manisodream wrote: >Hello everyone: > >In the photos section, Yahoo! has placed this message: > >Warning! Your account is restricted since it is over quota. Guest guest
Eleanor: I didn't delete any pics. I thought I'd leave it up to each person to delete pics from their file. Guest guest
I think probabally two a person is good, i think they are alot of people in there that are not even in the group possibly anymore, maybe some of those could be deleted ???? Guest guest
It looks like deleting the full-size photos is no longer a necessity, thanks to Yahoo's new photo page setup. What you might need to do though is go through and see who has photo albums, but is no longer a member of the group. Of course, this will require some judgment on your part, but if you KNOW someone left two years ago, but still has an album, that might be an indicator. Another technique that has been used on some of the other groups I'm on (some of which have more than 3000 members) is to request that those who have photo albums drop you a note, and also take a look and see if there are too many pictures in there. Usually explaining the situation in a group posting helps a lot. Let folks know that if they do NOT confirm an active status in the group within a time limit, you will be forced to delete their albums. Also, if there are albums with lots of photos in them, putting out a request to limit yourself to whatever number the moderators agree on, that can also help. A lot of group members don't really understand that each group is limited to a certain amount of disk space, so we all have to share. Part of the joys of being a group moderator! manisodream wrote: >Eleanor: > >I didn't delete any pics.
