Hike for Lung Health photos

I wrote this entire message earlier, then accidentally deleted it. I hate that. Anyway, I hope this doesn't sound like a rerun. I did it; I walked a full mile today! Even though it was pretty darn hot, even in the shade. Judy, I hope you didn't push yourself too hard, if you were able to go. I drank a LOT of water, and stopped to rest several times, and my face was beet red for about 2 hours afterward. My feet weren't too happy either. My daughter Theresa & -13 and Jon-6 went with me, along with my niece Sharon, with her kids, Gwyn-6 & Trent-4. They are the kids I babysit. I also took my dogs Annie & B.J. We took my scooter, mostly to carry supplies, but Trent had a sore toe, so he rode a lot. Not me--I walked the whole mile. I had put some Hershey's kisses in baggies, along with a brief note about the Hike and a K.I.S.S. logo sticker on the outside. We passed them out to people we passed on the walk. There were actually quite a few folks out walking (must be crazy, right?). I didn't receive my Hike shirt, so I made my own, with FSR's K.I.S.S. logo on the front & the Hike to Lung Health logo on the back. Becky, sorry I didn't make it to the chat today. After the walk, we took the kids to the playground there, then my daughter & grandkids stayed for about an hour. that's when I tried to send this the first time. So I just crashed then; I was even too tired to take a shower & I gotta tell you, I smell 'pretty loud,' as they say in Mississippi. So I'm going to do something about that, put on my pj's & park myself in my recliner for about the next 12 hours. I put the photos in the Temp. album in the Photos section. I'm the tall girl in the group photo. I'll answer the rest of the emails tomorrow.
