Guest guest
Hi , I ate all the way up to the orientation and then even a week after. I had a list of favorite foods that I could never eat again so I ate them before orientation and for a week after. I don't know if I gained weight or not. But I set a deadline so that all that food had to be eaten by that day. They said its a journey not a race, so here I am about 4 months later and about one pound from my goal. I haven't eaten any of those forbidden foods. As a matter of fact, I just eat mostly protein, some salad and tangerines to keep my bloodsugar up. I have to be careful of that too. I feel this long journey, very difficult, has led me to the point that I will have little problem going over to the other side, almost seemless, unless I have complications. I am 65 and my doctor, Baggs, told me I was high risk. Hummmm. I exercise now every day, too. How? I'll never know how. I just plodded along. Guest guest
Lilka, congrats on your success so far. I know that you can get that one pound off. You just have to stay at it and not give up. You should be so proud of yourself for not touching those foods that you THOUGHT you could never do without. It is amazing isn't it the limits that we put on ourselves because we really don't know just how STRONG we are until we are faced with a situation where we have to tap into our on abilities. Hang in there. You are a trooper! Pam Marsh --- Lilka wrote: > Hi , I ate all the way up to the orientation > and then even a > week after.
