Guest guest
, I am so glad that you are feeling so much better. I am so proud of you. Not only for going through with your decision dispite what others thoughts about the surgery was. Also for just stopping smoking after 19 or 20 years. That is a major accomplishment. I am going to enjoy watching your metamorphasis. You are truly a strong and beautiful person and I am so grateful and blessed that God placed you in my life. I still remember when I first started working at Kaiser and I kept calling you the wrong name and you were so patient with me helping learn this big organization. Also for being there for me when my dad passed. Also for the arguments/disagreements. They were ALL SO WORTH it because I got to find that you are a true friend and I will always be thankful to you for everytime you stepped out there and supported me even when you did not have to. You got a lot of heart girl and I have the highest regard and respect for you. You have been through so very much but yet you keep pressing forward and I admire you for that. Strength, by far is just ONE of your great qualities. Always putting the needs of others before you. Well hon, its time for KAREN. You know how MC Hammer used to say " HAMMER TIME " ? Well its KAREN TIME-lol. I can't wait for you to get back to work (but get your rest and take the time that you need off) so you, Robynn and I can continue this journey. You know that if you EVER, EVER need me, you know exactly how to find me. I love you dearly and I just wanted to make absolutely sure that you know this. You have to remember that we have been here for each other because when I was going through my process, you were right there with me and you continue to be and I appreciate you for that. Robynn, you are wonderful, caring, and simply beautiful. I always knew that you were but since the surgery, I am finally getting to see the real Robynn. Continue to love yourself and take care of Robynn and everything else will work its own kinks out. To the rest of the gang, thanks again for your prayers and support for me and . Take care. Guest guest
!!! Yay!!! You're home, that's great. WOw, you did really well with the post-surgery weight gain. You are going to be a skinny girl in no time at all! I sent a number of prayers your way, my friend. Big hugs and kisses out to you. And I would say that you can see my nekked body anytime, but that might sound strange!!! (For clarification, I showed her the sag factor, which isn't so bad.) Robynn wrote: Greetings all, How wonderful God is. Thank you all for your kind words and prayers. The surgery has been a roller coaster ride in itself that has just begun (smile). I've asked Pam Marsh to keep all updated so I want duplicate myself. But today I'm doing much much better. Still in pain but I'm able to keep my good old food down. I have been assigned to do 2 additional days of "liquids" which is fine with me, I love swansons chicken broth (lol), then I forward on to the next stage. After a short discussion with Pam I decided to stay with my mother for my family's assistance, this is one of the best decisions I've ever made. My older brother prepares all my meals and bring them to me. Keep me on schedule with my meds (yes). Walking - I'm doing lots of it and enjoying every second of it. Anytime of the night or day you just might find me out walking... it helps (a lot) with the bloating and gas.....it helps me become comfortable. Regardless of the coldness.....I hear my brother at the door yelling its "hell of cold" you need your coat (lol lol). Day of the surgery I was so nervous you know the "not knowing" oh and because of my flexing weight anyway needless to say I dont know what the heck happened my goal was 198 and on the surgery day I was 193 yes you read that correctly 193 I was so proud of myself. Right now because of the bloating, extra water and everything else from the surgery I'm approx 195........not suppose to read the scale for another week or so. Overall I feel good...and I thank God that I've made it this far....... Pam you have helped me so much through this journey and I know we have a long ways to go, thank you for ALWAYS being there for me.. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.....I love you so much, you'll never know how much. Robynn thank you so much for all your encouragement and allowing me to watch your necked body (lol lol lol)........ girl you have helped me mentally thanks for that... I love you..... Guest guest
I'm so happy your doing better. I had to stay on the clear liquids an extra week, and stage 2 and extra week, so I know where your coming from. I also had so much gas it hurt so bad and the walking really did help, it takes a while for that to all get out of there if your like me and had a lot, and it took forever before I could burp or fart (sorry) so it was very pain full. I hope from here on things run smooth, I've had lots of ups and downs with this, but I would do it over again if I had to. Welcome to the other side. Take care.
