Hi Joni,

Emilie's muscle biopsy at Cleveland Clnic was a same-day surgery. She

was in recovery for maybe a couple of hours; then we went to

Mc House to spend the night. Her biopsy was in her left thigh. The

scar is about an inch or so long.

I think the typical protocal is a same day surgery, but I would think they would want you to stay close to the hospital the night after. Mc House is right across the street.

Our daughter Grace had hers in the right thigh. She did stay overnight in the hospital, but she also had a liver wedge biopsy done at the same time.
