Guest guest
Hi Patty; Does he seem distended as though his bladder is full? When Kirk started suffering from urine retention, his tummy would be quite distended. We have started doing in & out catheterizations when he hasn't gone for awhile because he's had two urinary tract infections because of the urine not being fully drained. Kirk doesn't have any lactic acid irregularities though so I'm coming at this strictly from a 'urine retention' perspective. I think I'd definitely pursue it though. Where could all the fluids be going if they're not coming out of the body? Anybody know? Kirkland had a VCUG and Urodynamics test to try to illuminate the problem. We never really had an answer. I just assume it's the progreesion of the disease. Take care, mom to Kirkland almost 4, Complex One Def. wwwcaringbridge.org/canada/kirklandk/ --- TPAEJJ90@... wrote: > Hi just a quick question my son Josh is almost 9 > his last 2 Acid > Phosphatase blood test came back high.
