Guest guest
A member of this list wrote and said I sound as if I'm angry. I'm sorry if it seems that way. The message really should have sounded like a plea for help and not a message in anger. The sender also mentioned that people are busy with this disease and this is exactly why we need help. All of the moderators are affected with the disease. One of them has 4 affected children so you see - this is why we need help. Moderating the chat is quite simple. For the most part, we need bodies to be there who have the capability to remove a chatter that is sending inappropriate messages. This is an MDA requirement. so far - since we started these chats nearly two years ago, there has been one person removed and that was during a guest chat. The other need is to help me know that there might be a problem with the chat itself so that I can contact the MDA to fix it. If you can join the team and help once a month - that would sincerely be appreciated. It's not hard at all - that's a promise. You don't have to be techy to do it. Additionally, we understand when emergencies happen - they happen to us and right now we have difficulies covering when they do. If there are enough moderators, we can shift the nights around to help each other. I now have 2 volunteers so we are still looking. Thanks!
