Guest guest
Donna - I'm pretty sure that once there is a blockage of any limb, that you would have the warning signs -- the important part would be to heed them. I asked my surgeon if I would be more prone to future blockages, since I already had one. His reply was not necessarily -- they are pretty rare -- it just depends on how the scar tissue/adhesions grow around our innards. It is a low rate, statistically, of blockages at all. Guest guest
Kris, Hi ! I do remember that when I got my bowel obstruction last year, my surgeon told me that as time went on, the chances of another obstruction lessened and lessened. Doesn't sound as tho that's the way of it here since the people, including you, who are experiencing it are experiencing it so far out. Then again, my body builds scar tissue very very quickly (adhesions), and that may be why mine hit so soon. Glad to know it's rare, tho !! Thanks again, Donnd Donna C.
