... Ok, so the incisions are healed on the outside. Don't forget that your plumbing has been reworked. The inside is still busy healing healing healing. That takes a lot of energy. The thing with LAP (did you do LAP?) is that it feels less invasive, and it is. You don't have a huge incision. But, the SURGERY is the same. THat's a whole lot of healing and adjustment that your body has to do. Plus, adjustment to anesthesia is a big deal. It really does a number to your body, and it takes a while to recover. ALso, you are eating a lot less, and your body is burning fat (and muscle) and that takes a lot of energy too. So, expect to be tired for 6 months or so. That will vary day to day...but don't despair! Robynn Colleen Garner wrote: Hi Ron thanks, i feel fabulous, we use to have in here who gave us nicknames and i think fabulous was one of them ! I wonder how she is doing, I bet she is doing just great ! Hope things are going well for you ! That was fun chatting in the chat room, last week i think..........normally i am not up that late, but for some reason I could not sleep well that night. Thanks again ColleenBBQ Man wrote: Colleen - Dahling, you look FAB-u-lous! Ron Re: Ten month mark for Colleen To The Group- This Saturday marked my 10th

month since surgery. Today I posted a new picture on the picture board on our website. It still amazes me that this picture is actually me..... The changes I have gone through are all so numerous but not a one has been negative. I still have a ways to go, but i know that i am going to get there and that is gods greatet gift to me...............I want to thank all my family and friends for sharing this journey with me and you are my online family and Thank you so much each and every one of you................... One of my biggest wishes was that my husband could pick me up and twirl me, well the other day he did that, it was as if i was in a major motion picture and even though there wasnt music playing like in a movie, in my mind it was so loud and fun and crazy................and i was just laughing..................my stepson picks me up sometimes now and piggy backs me, i just laugh........................... Life is just so much better ! thanks for sharing it with me ! Colleenheresawho wrote: I'm 3 weeks post-op today. No pain, incisions have heeled and I'm generally feeling pretty swell. It's truly an amazing trip; I've already lost 30 lbs. I advanced to stage 3 foods after my visit with Dr. Baggs last Friday. Only problem I continue to have is the lack the energy. Sheesh… I can hardly keep my eyes open in the afternoon and I'm ready to crash at 7:00 pm. I've been strictly adhering to the Richmond doctrine but now I'm feeling a no/low carb energy supplement might be of help. Any advice?HBTW- I visited Barbara H. this PM in Richmond, she is up walking, looks terrific and is raring to go! Colleen
