Guest guest
Hi Eveyone. My name is Bonnie and while I have been signed up to this group for several months, I have never ben active here only because I get fuzzy brained trying to keep track of who is who bu I need some help and am hoping there might be some people here who can help. I would like to find people who have had BPD/DS surgery and who are 1- 2 years or further post op. You see, I am 14 months out and my weight loss has stopped for over a month now, very slow crawl for nealy three months an I'm worried that it's over and the rest is up to me which even that I might be able to cope withif only I an find out how to approach this from here. Do I diet now, do I eat more to loose more like a lo of DS people do??? WHat? I have noticed that my BM's are not nearly as fatty as they use to be so does that mean I'm not eating as much fatty foods thus why my weight loss has slowed down or does it mean my body is absorbing more of it. SCARY THOUGHT ! I don't notice that my eating habbits have chnged any but then I have never been real concnered about gms of this and that et since surgery. genrally just make sure I eatlots of meats (which is not a problem for me as I love meats anyway) and I don't worry abou everything else and the weight has melted away until now. I haven't ost an ounce in about 5 weeks now and even the previosu 4 weeks from that I only lost 4 lb so ..........is it over? I this as far as the surgery takes me? OR is it like some very sweet caring and encourging people are telling me and just that the boy is needing time to calm down from loosing so much so quick and if that is the probelm, when can I expect my body to get a gripe and go on loosing. Driving me nuts ! ANyone who has been here and is like I said,1-2 years post op or more, PLEASE, write me either here or my email. Thanks!
