I was requesting a case manager and also eazy off lids on our medicine bottles. I got no were they kept saying that a pharmacist would call me within 72hrs, No luck. I was being polite and to the point. Got no where so I told them I was calling the ADA and also my Senator At that point I told them to not bother to call me unless it was to tell me when the easy off caps would arrive and that my record was marked to always send meds with easy off caps. I then called the ADA who told me to call them and say the following exactly how he said it he had me write it down. Hello, my nzmd is Judy Basso and I am calling to request reasonable accomodations under Title 3,of the ada I was then told to tell them I expected to receive them within 24hrs and on all future prescriptions. And that the ADA would be contacting the United States Federal Justice Department to initiate legal procedings if I did not receive the medicine bottle caps that I was able to open. I also called my senator's office (his wife has had MS for many years.) I called them yesterday afternoon. Before 8AM the appropriate lids arrived by UPS next day air. At nine o'clock My Senator's secretary called to say that the Senator had writen a letter to the Head of Medco requesting that I be sent the apprpriate easy off/senior friendly caps immediately.
